Robertson Receives Writing Award

Attorney Rick Robertson, managing partner for the Plano office, has won the award for the Best Family Law CLE Article for 2008 from the State Bar of Texas.

Mr. Robertson collected the award in August at the Star Bar’s Advanced Family Law Course in San Antonio. Presenting the award was Charla Bradshaw Conner, Koons Fuller’s managing partner for the Denton office, who won the same award for 2007. Mike Gregory in the Denton office has also won this award.

Robertson’s winning article, Electronic Evidence in an Information World, was written for the 31st Annual Marriage Dissolution Institute held in Galveston during April. The article examines the effect of such electronic forms of communication as cell phone calls, voice mail, emails and text messaging on family law litigation.

Assisting Mr. Robertson on the article were Koons Fuller attorneys Ramsey Patton and Rebecca Tillery.
