Divorce

Fewer marriages end in divorce these days because marriage totals are lower than ever before, but the divorce rate in America is still very high. And if you are going through the divorce process, your percentage of involvement is 100%.

Divorce is an overwhelming experience for parents and children, and can be one of the most traumatic experiences of a person’s life. At such a time, selecting a lawyer who will allow you to emerge financially and emotionally intact is essential.

KoonsFuller divorce attorneys have tremendous experience negotiating and finalizing complex divorce agreements. We have attorneys in four locations and can handle all aspects of a divorce, including:

• Complex property issues

• Child custody, support, visitation and parenting plans

• Mediation

• Dividing retirement and employee benefits

• Modifications

• Enforcement of orders

• Spousal maintenance (a.k.a. spousal support or alimony)

• Collaborative law

KoonsFuller relies on decades of aggressive litigation experience to obtain the best possible outcome. But the firm emphasizes alternative dispute resolution techniques, such as collaborative law and mediation, which often result in more amicable post-divorce relationships.
